Almost everything about your profile, plan, and preferences lives under Settings. You must be signed in. On desktop, open Settings from the left sidebar; on mobile, use the account menu.
Settings includes these tabs: Account, Subscription, Email notifications, Privacy, and Help.
Account tab
Use this tab for identity and login details:
| Item | What you can do |
|---|---|
| First / last name | Edit how your name appears (changes save when you leave the field) |
| Email address | View or update the email on your account |
| Password | Change password if you signed up with email + password |
| Google account | Open Google’s account management if you use Google sign-in |
Light / dark theme is not on this tab. Change theme from the avatar / account menu in the header.
Subscription tab
This is where you see your current plan and manage billing.
What you might see
- Free — limited access with analysis credits
- Starter / Premium free trial — card-required 30-day trial; Settings shows when the trial ends and when you will be charged
- Starter or Premium — active paid plan
- “Until [date]” — you canceled renewal but still have paid access through that date
Start a trial / upgrade — Choose Start free trial or go to Pricing, pick Starter or Premium, and complete checkout (card required). After checkout succeeds, your plan updates automatically (usually within a few seconds).
Update payment — Opens a secure billing portal where you can change your card, switch monthly vs annual (when available), and download invoices.
Cancel, downgrade, or pause (paid plans) — Cancel or downgrade walks you through options such as:
- Moving from Premium to Starter (when offered)
- Pausing billing for about three months on monthly plans (not available during a free trial)
- Switching to Free (during a trial: you will not be charged; on paid: access continues until the period ends)
- Canceling completely (during a trial: no charge; on paid: access continues through the paid period)
Free accounts — You can unsubscribe from emails while keeping the account, or cancel the account entirely. A full cancel deactivates the profile; to return later, use the reactivation page.
Email, privacy, and Help
- Email notifications — choose which emails you receive (guide)
- Privacy — advertising cookies (guide)
- Help — shortcut back to this Help Center
“I upgraded but still see Free”
