If you use Starting Lineup with sized positions, Scouter can show a portfolio-level view of price action, catalysts, and allocation. Many people miss the button on the first visit because it sits beside the Lineup header rather than inside the table.
Before you start
- Be on Starter or Premium (Starting Lineup is locked on Free).
- Add at least one ticker to the Starting Lineup with a size — either shares or dollar value.
- Bench-only names do not appear in this portfolio breakdown; promote them to Lineup first if you want them included.
How to open it
- Go to Starting Lineup.
- Find the Expected Moves & Breakdown control next to the Lineup header (chart-style icon).
- Click it to open the large modal.
Do not expect the portfolio value number alone to open this view — use the dedicated control.
What you will see
- A combined portfolio chart with markers for upcoming catalysts across holdings
- An allocation breakdown by sector/industry (sunburst-style view)
- Expected-move context for Lineup names in one place
This is meant to answer “what is coming up across my whole book?” without opening every ticker one by one. For single-name depth, still use Expected Moves.
Catalyst feeds vs this modal
Clicking an event in the Lineup or Bench feed opens that event’s detail modal (when your plan allows). Expected Moves & Breakdown is the separate portfolio overview. Both are useful; they are not the same button.
